Dear Sirs,
I am writing You concerning the U21 qualify match Italy vs. Slovakia played in Italy.
The performance of the referee in second half was worse than poor. Especially situation, when referee judged to kick a penalty against home team. After long discussion with linesman, he changed the decision for corner kick. In such a game it is really controversy to give a penalty kick and than change the decision. What was unbelievable was the corner kick, as the ball didn´t cross the goal line.
Also many decisions (especially bookings of Slovak players) were more than disputable. But described situation had nothing to do with a match in such a high level. I think young Slovakians should be satisfied. Best solution would be to repeat the match, but I don´t believe You will make such a brave decision. I know the game can not be repeated, but for young guys must it be big disappointment and it gives a bad look on Italian team as well as on UEFA itself.
Thank You for reading this and giving a response.
